- Ronnie Z Blewitt -

Experience:

Ronnie Z. Blewitt is a solicitor at Principles Law. She began her career as an office junior in a firm of solicitors in Whitstable, Kent in 1999. She attended Law School in London’s West End. Ronnie qualified as a solicitor in London and as a trainee solicitor she dealt with civil litigation, employment law and real estate transactions. 
Since then, Ronnie has worked in London and Kent, dealing in a vast range of interesting and complex matters. She successfully navigated the Charities Act 1993 to dispose of a religious temple and was part of a team acting in the acquisition of the hotel chain Langham’s whilst assisting the head of the real estate department in a firm based in Mayfair and Harrow.

In recent years, as a Consultant to Quality Solicitors Harris Waters near St Katherine’s Dock London (2013-2016 and returning in 2017) she acted for a number of property developers in addition to individuals within the residential real estate sector. Ronnie was a consultant to Setfords Solicitors, St Mary Axe, London EC1. Whilst residing in the USA she primarily advised corporate clients in a wide range of real estate matters.

Ronnie has advised in relation to complex and high value property transactions. Notable cases include advising in relation to a land promotion agreement for a portfolio of properties worth in excess of £380,000,000.00, corporate and individual SIPP and SSAS disposals/acquisitions, and acquiring and disposing of sites for development.

Ronnie has advised SIPP and SSAS administrators, professional trustees and acted for notable real estate companies, banks, corporate trustees, charities and landowners.  
Ronnie is well regarded by her clients and early in her career she had a large client following due to her pragmatic advice and commitment to achieve her clients' objectives.

Experience:

Natalie qualified as a solicitor in 2010 and now specialises in leasehold enfranchisement, lease extensions and the grant of new residential leases, where she acts for both landlords and tenants. 


She is also able to deal with a range of other non-contentious property matters, including the grant of licences to alter, deeds of variation and licences to assign. Natalie trained and qualified at a niche property firm in Notting Hill, where she acted for a range of landlord and tenant clients from across the world.


She then worked for a Top 50 UK Law, before becoming a consultant solicitor. Natalie’s client base ranges from high-end property portfolio owners, PLCs and household names to private individuals. Working for both freeholder and leaseholder clients enables her to see both sides of the transaction and thus provide the highest quality legal and tactical advice. 


Natalie prides herself on having an excellent working relationship with her clients and it is her view that the importance of providing quality advice in an efficient, yet friendly and approachable manner, cannot be underestimated.

Examples of notable cases:

  • Acting for several leaseholders at Melbury Road, W14 in relation to a complex £1.25 million enfranchisement claim against the Ilchester Estate 
  • Acting for over 70 leaseholders at the Leigh Hunt Drive development in N14, in relation to the acquisition of statutory lease extensions under the Leasehold Reform Housing and Urban
  • Development Act 1993. The applications spanned several blocks with different freeholders. Natalie successfully argued that the counter notices in the case of two blocks were invalid and secured a significant saving for the leaseholders concerned
  • Coordinating, drafting and granting new 999 year leases at a high value development of over 60 flats on Campden Hill Road, which included attending residents’ meetings to answer questions and provide advice to the leaseholders
